Over the fields and up the mountain

Friday afternoon was such a beautiful afternoon that we decided to take the children on a long walk.
We headed off to the canal then over Mollington golf course and finally up a 'mountain'. From our mountain we could see the railway winding its way along,the cathedral and the hospital.
We had such a lovely time but we were all exhausted when we returned. Do you know that even after being out for the best part of two hours some children still asked if we could do PE,
Thank goodness you Mums were already waiting and we had a good excuse not to!!!!!

Eating Chinese Food

Today at Rising Fives we learnt all about China. We watched a D.V.D. about a little Chinese boy called Ian and then we all dressed up like Chinese people. Our snack was Chinese noodles and everyone did really well using the chop sticks !
