A famous footballer came to Rising Fives today.

A famous footballer came to Rising Fives on Friday.
He showed the children all his kit and talked to them about football. The children then went into the hall with him and he did some football training with them. They even dribbled the ball and they did it very well. They really enjoyed the visit . Thankyou Dave for coming .

This last week at preschool we said goodbye to our student Christie. She has been a real pleasure to have and she has built some lovely relationships with the children.
We hope she comes to visit us soon.
You can see a picture of a music session Christie did with the children The other pictures are taken around preschool showing some cleaning being done and some dressing up.Sorry about the sideways pictures ---missed the chance to change them.

Today at our morning Rising Fives group we watched a short DVD about Ian who went out on patrol with the police. We decided to pretend to be police and we went out to patrol the car park Each child had a police notebook and we went around marking everything we found wrong.
The young lady you can see is writing down the phone number that was inside the lost bag that we found. We also found a car that was parked on the footpath and as you can see everyone took down his number plate so he could be contacted and the car moved before you came to collect the children.
We then went into the police station and this lady in pink is using the phone to tryto find the lady who had lost a baby in the car park.
Sue then told us about her garage being broken in to. She told us how the police had taken the finger prints of the people who had broken in .
The children then went to the desk in the police station to give their prints so the police would know it wasn't them
During PE we danced under the dragon and the lion for Chinese New Year.
